As the joint media partner of European Film Promotion (EFP), Cineuropa is proud to celebrate these compelling narratives crafted by women+ filmmakers in Europe – and to help amplify their voices on the international stage.

This year’s directors are united by a shared commitment to illuminating the experiences of those often pushed to the margins. Exploring everything from grief and questions of cultural identity to nuanced portrayals of blindness or deafness, their films offer deeply human stories that demand to be seen and heard. In a time of global uncertainty, they present singular perspectives on life, each marked by striking originality and a sense of hope.
